HoopTV's customer support is pretty good. I've exchanged 7-8 emails with them in the past hour as they try and get the video up. A lesser quality version is now available while they work on getting a better one.

      Picture?

Has anyone watched the DVD yet? I am still wondering about the quality. I am only willing to shell out $20.00 if the picture is like watching a broadcast on TV.

I actually watched it on the plane ride back from Vegas and I liked the quality.

Just out of curiosity while I am waiting for my copy, how is the quality of the game on the DVD? Also how are the announcers?

Being at the game I wasn't sure how the announcers sounded to those watching the webcast but after watching the dvd, I really liked the quality. The announcers weren't anything special but you could hear them pretty well. I definitely give it a thumbs up.

I ordered the DVD and received it today (that was fast!).
I just got done watching the game. It was great fun to watch the game again, and I was surprised at the good quality of the video. It's not High-Definition, but it's not the low-res stuff that we get on the online video streams either. It's worth ordering if anyone was waiting to see what others thought of it.

Just a couple new thoughts I had after watching the game again-
Mike Davis is a really good player. If an MVC team had a big guy like him who has his moves and can score, they'd be tough to beat in the MVC. Also, I think Davis would be an All American if he played in the MVC.

On the other hand, I simply can't see what all the hype has been about Alex Legion. He was so highly rated coming out of HS, yet I can't see anything the kid does well. He will struggle to get playing time behind all the young Illini guards.

Jeff Jordan and Bill Cole would have been nice players to see play at a midmajor school. Their skills and quickness are just lacking too much to play at the Big Ten level.

Demetry McCamey, another highly rated player out of high school, is not a good enough shooter to be taking the outside shot so much, but he makes too many bad decisions and turnovers that he needs to improve on or Weber will continue to be frustrated. Illinois would be better if they had a Sam Maniscalco.

And only 1 new thought regarding Bradley- Chris Roberts is really good! He almost never makes a mistake, he's always where he should be on the floor, he makes very good decisions with the ball, he plays extraordinarily good defense, and he's a clutch shooter. I wish he would shoot more. I also wish we had Dodie this year, as it would probably make Chris an even better player, but we can't have everything! But if you watch the game again keep an eye on CR, he really played a big part in this win.

BTW, Captain Brave was featured a lot on the DVD, especially at a timeout at 15:26 of the 2nd half. But he didn't have his famous mask on! I just hope this doesn't ruin his superhero career!

Watched on my tv for the first time today and I liked it better on my computer. Not a bad quality by any means but the very beginning looks a little blurry. Gets much better after that except for a couple times that they go to a sideline shot from the ground that looks blurry.

Fun to relive the game though even if it has only been a week

By the way- I am willing to give my DVD of this Bradley-Illinois game to someone from our BradleyFans members if you would like a copy of this game, and can't afford to buy it.

Anyone interested, send me a PM and we can arrange to get it to you.
Please do not post on the board about it.

Not only blurry, but that particular sideline shot you are talking about shows a compressed picture, the type that makes people look thinner and taller. Why that camera was used amongst the rest I have no clue. Aside from that though the announcers were competent and knowledgable about the teams. A thousand times better than the ameteurish nonsense that called the CI.com final on Fox College Sports earlier this year! The production was very good for the most part as well.

Nice to watch the game as well! Will finish it up tomorrow.
