a couple things stand out to me....
--we are shooting more FT's than our opponents
--we hold opponents to 41% from the field & 30% from the arc
--we're being whistled for fewer fouls
--and despite playing a few high scoring offenses like BYU, Illinois, & Okie State, we're still holding opponents to only 64 ppg
these are all good and reflect better defense, controlling the tempo, and playing better defense - or did I say that already!

Loved the fact that all 5 starters scored in double figures last night. That will certainly drive opposing defenses crazy, just don't know who to guard and any player can get hot at any moment. However, the bench only scored 7 points but Milos could of easily scored 10+ points had some of his 3's started going down.

I liked that also. I want to see that kind of distribution for the majority of the season. It'd be nice to have all 5 starters avg double digits in ppg during the course of the season like UNI had last year. If we do that and have TB's points go up from last nights game we could score in the 70's more consistently. If we get that ability, then we'll be good. Our defense already holds some teams down but the offense needs to come around and they need to take (and make) good shots.
