Apparently, Illinois is not that great because we know how bad Utah is!

I'm sure the illinois state fans are extremely pleased with this result.
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

Man, ya gotta give it to Utah, they played a heck of a 2nd half. Hit their FREE THROW's and limited the turnovers. I think I would much rather lose to OK State than be ranked in the top 25 and lose a heart breaker like that to a team that just lost to a transitional division 1. Going to be interesting games tomorrow.

My reaction about tomorrow's game now:

The Illini are going to be out for blood. I sure hope we're ready.
          Go Braves!

You know, Illinois had some problems with Wofford too. I think the Illini might be a little overrated at the moment. And if this is a down year for Utah, I'd hate to see where they will be in a year or two!

Utah just sent a big time message to the rest of the Mountain West Conference. And Bradley gets to benefit the most!

We just GOT to be jacked up for this game tomorrow. It's there for the taking. And remember, Utah just lost to a non-D1 Seattle team the other night, so momentum can change really quickly in this game!

For those that missed it, the ending layup did have some controversy with it. The Orleans Arena doesn't have the backboard red border for when the clock runs out. When the clock hit 1 second, it shut off on the replay, so the refs had no choice but to count it when they were checking the replay at the end. It looked like the time had run out though but ya can't change it now.

Well, Illinois shouldn't have let it go to the last second anyway, especially when they blew a 16 point lead. You play like garbage, then you have to live with the result.

Wow. IL must be horrible. Surely can't shot that poorly two games in a row.

We should be out for blood too. I don't think our team is satisfied with the effort put forth tonight, so it should make for some very interesting dynamics tomorrow. I don't know now how good Illinois is, but hopefully we can still catch them while they are down. Heck, Creighton played uninspired today too after a game they should have won. Hopefully Illinois will come in with that same mindset.
