Embarrassing game tonight. I would have been ashamed to have watched this game with a friend who had never seen Bradley play. I just don't understand how a team with a "preseason" schedule can look so rusty and out of sync. Presby was no better than an average D-2 team.

Oh well. We'll either get this train on the track or get blown out in Vegas.

Well, they played well for 2/3 of the game, but again, we let them back in with sloppy play.

Good to see Milos play really well. Taylor Brown scores a new career high. He'll probably break that a few times before his time is done at BU.

this is BU basketball...shut down the other team, shoot over 50% and win the game, so what's the fuss?
If we'd have had TB in game 1 we'd be 4-0

Please, not the "we didn't win by enough" posts. Bradley did what they needed to do. Bradley's starters were all on the bench with a 17 point lead when Presbyterian, with their starters in the game, started to close the gap a little. But Bradley never folded, and played well down the stretch to maintain a double-digit lead most of the rest of the game.

Even with Brown we would not have won at BYU. Right now we better worry about playing a one full consistant basketball game or we will not win either game in Vegas.

DC says, not the we didnt win by enough posts thats fine, but how about it would be very nice to see one full game of consistant basketball played. I dont want the well we played combinations or this or that, it is time for this team to play a full 40 minutes of consistant basketball, no taking periods of time off but a full consistant 40 minutes.

A win is a win and I do remember Lubbuck Christian and/or Texas Arlington. But I dont care, we will never beat a good solid basketball team when we refuse to play hard consistant 40 minutes of basketball. Lulls defensively or lulls of no offense are unacceptable with the number of players who have played division 1 basketball.

Maybe we really do play to our competition.

Did anyone notice the incessant flash bulb going off throughout the entire game. I literally have a huge headache now because every three seconds the flash bulbs up in the light truss would go off.

                      Clunky 2nd half, but it's a win.

I respectfully beg to differ Coach, but Sam M. and EM were on floor together most of the time during that stretch, and I don't believe there was a time (if it was it was only a minute or so) that ALL Bradley starters were on the bench at the same time. Anyway, no sense in arguing that point, but EM and Sam M. are a bad combination. Those two should never be on the floor at the same time unless it is completely necessary, period. I do not think I am alone in making that statement. Have a good night. Oh, and nice picture SFP. Maybe they would like a ride in my Viper?

You are right, that there was 1 starter on the floor with 4 subs right after Bradley's biggest lead of 19 points (in fact only 4 subs played in the game). Milos, Dyricus, Anthony Thompson, and Eddren were playing at that time. But that group didn't play well, and Jim got frustrated and returned the starters when the lead shrunk under 10 points.
Nonetheless, I do not think it's reason for panic or discouragement that we didn't extend or hold the lead.

It"s not that we didn"t win by enough but this team is being coached like these are exibition games, McCain and Maniscalco once again on the floor together and once again the lead evaporated, how many times is he going to experiment with this failing combination, Roberts, Brown, Milos and Warren played well, Egolf was ok, Simms-Edwards not enough time again, McCain and Maniscalco struggled again, Thompson was not strong enough in the post tonight, this BU team has a lot of potential but if the substituions continue we are going to lose a lot of games that we should have won.

I'll take a win anyway we can get it......But....I can't believe we had to finish the game with our starters still on the floor. Why can't we put teams away? Where is the killer instinct? BU has got to learn to turn 12-14 point leads into 22-24 point leads. We didn't put these guys away and because of this we end up getting SM's already sore ankle hurt again. Had BU taken care of business he wouldn't have even been on the floor.

Sorry for the rant-n-rave...we won...give Presby some credit for not folding and continuing to play hard.....on to Vegas...
