Highly rated recruit leaving Ohio State

Walter Offut was highly rated in high school in Indianapolis, and he committed to Ohio State very early. Now as a sophomore, he isn't getting much playing time and is leaving and looking to transfer.

Walter was another player from my HS Conference. He is a very good player. And the MIC conference does a pretty decent job preparing you for college. I am surprised he hasn't had a bigger impact. He will be a good transfer 'get' for some school.

Offut tore his ACL his senior year of high school. Maybe he isn't the same from that injury.

also with all the talent Ohio State had coming in and the fact that they have very good 4-star kids, then a 3-star kid just isn't going to get the time....
but watch him leave OSU and transfer somewhere else and have the same problem...
