Speaking of "e...GOLF"

Hooked up with JR Koch on the golf course today. He joined my twosome when his group left after 9 holes.

Very nice kid. Didn't realize he's been gone from Iowa for 8 years. Said he played overseas and did quite well. He recieved another invite to go back but his knees are catching up with mine and he decided it was time to call it quits.

Talked alot about Iowa, Alford and Davis, his coach. Said he almost ended up at Illinois but knew it was Hensons last year.

Also told us about favorite places to play. He loved IU and said Illinois was cool because of the orange crush. Said MSU was probably the toughest place to play.

Along with selling real estate he's the soph. hoops coach for Dunlap.

Nothing earth shattering but I thought I'd pass it along for those JR fans.....again REAL nice kid, pretty good golfer and enjoyed chasing the white ball around Newman with him.
