Big game for the Valley tonight with Pitt/Wichita State in Kansas City. The winner most likely gets a crack at #3 Texas

As I stated in my Power Poll, UNI just has not looked too crisp so far this year, even in their wins.

Hopefully the 2nd half shapes up better, but I believe this is an indication that there will once again be an incorrect prediction from the media on who wins the conference title.

the box score says Kwadzo is 17-18 from the floor and 38 pts..
if accurate, then he is definitely next week's POY!

Before I call this a "signature win", I better check with Asian Dude, or he "might punch me in the face.' Well Asian Dude?

The official stats are slightly less than the initial reports-

Kwadzo Ahelegbe 14-17 overall from the field, 3-3 from three.

The other 2 guards, Farokhmanesh and Moran, were only 2-4 from the field and did not make a three pointer in the game.

Game story from Boston College website. No report yet at UNI site-

Indiana State will go down to Coastal Carolina. It's 76-60 in favor of Coastal Carolina with a minute to go.

Coastal Carolina had an RPI last year of 303. That's almost worthy of being on Illinois State's schedule.
They could be a little better this year, but this is still a bad loss.
