During the game I wrote an email of our technical difficulties with the feed and here is what I received:
    "Dear SFP,

The audio problem with this event is being worked on. To view the picture in full screen you will need to double click on the video. If there is anything else we can help you with, please let us know.

    Thank You,

    Joe, Jump TV Support"

I did not even respond. Really you have to double click on it??? and the audio! Who was working on it? I want to know if the feed will be improved both the audio and video! Please let us know. This has to be one of the worse paid video services out there. What gives? There are better free streaming video services then this.

Yup. You should be watching ESPN360. The ILL-NIU is perfectly streaming, good quality on full screen and no buffering. And you can even rewind it mid game (like DVR) ... this is the standard on how online video should be.
    Go Braves!

I'm also extremely disappointed. What happened to getting the same service that the Horizon League used? Is this not the exact same company with the exact same issues we had last year? I thought these issues would be addressed, but apparently it was lies from their customer service. I'm seriously thinking of cancelling and asking for a full refund. What a joke.

Maybe so, but not everyone has the bandwidth or funding that ESPN does...

That will make a difference in quality.

Sounds to me like the same spiel that has been made about the AWFUL scoreboard at Carver.

Parker said the audio was because WMBD has new equipment and the Internet side needed a new connector cable that they did not realize until that night. (must be like DirecTv's newest digital equipment that results in occasional Brrrrrrrip during commercial changes that I now hear on the radio broadcasts) To get around "no audio", they setup imprompteau mics. During the post game, Snell would tell AW and JL that this other mic is the Internet mic so Milos' family can hear...
I'd be 99.9% confident they will easily solve the audio issue and get the direct WMBD feed..

Video, on the other hand, might still need a large amount of technical changes..

I'll just keep pushing this up until we get an answer. If the next feed is not better I may just have to ask for my money back. If someone wants to send me over the architect of the system we have I'd be glad to make some sound advise on how you could make it better. Two things usually help, a decent ISP with adequate bandwidth hooked up to a fiber channel and tons of memory with an application that can utilize it. The prices for an enterprise ready solution have come down considerably as well as bandwidth pricing.

Bandwidth is cheap. Its latency that is expensive.
