How does ANY sports franchise OR busines get more people through the gates?

    Better promotions...better product.....etc.....

Not scheduling against the mighty Bears; not scheduling during inclement weather. I honestly don't understand why 3,000 people have tickets and decide not to come to the game.
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

I do.....again when you lose 3 consecutive games in a row after having 15 point leads people start to say, "do I really want to go and watch this team when I could be doing(fill in the blank..._________).

How does that explain 3,000 people not showing up for the Loyola game. At that time we were 2-1 in our last three games, including a win over Illinois.

Again, I still don't understand why 3,000 people have tickets and decide not to come to the game.

I imagine it's because they bought the tickets as a status symbol and only use them only when it's convenient for them to be seen. Bad weather, team in a slump, no regional/national TV broadcast, no marquee-name opponent = no reason to go.
