Actually, there is a large and stable population in the Waterloo-Cedar Falls area. It is around 163,000 people, which should be enough to support the local team better than they do. But unfortunately, many of them are Iowa and Iowa State grads, who follow those teams.
BTW- the Metropolitan population for Bloomington-Normal area is around 125,000

The Bradley percentage of 78.1% seems like it is down compared to past years. I know we've played a terrible home schedule but is there maybe more to this low number? Economy?
Do we expect that number to rise significantly with MVC play? Does that mean it is now possiblt to get good (lower bowl) season tickets?

Agreed, there is zero chance we draw over 10,000 for USC Upstate. Well done by both these fanbases! I think we can get there someday, hopefully sooner rather than later.People need to recognize there is a huge difference between playing hard, and playing well...

Being that the Civic Center is not like an On-Campus arena, I doubt we will ever see Carver Arena like Koch Arena at Wichita State.
In addition to the on-campus factor, the fact that WSU has almost 3 times as many students as Bradley and they will always draw far more students to their games. Add the fact that the Wichita metropolitan population is about twice as large as the Peoria metro population, and I think Bradley does pretty darn well drawing 9000-10,000 for every game in the sterile Civic Arena.
If not for the lower attended games of the CBI and CIT the last 2 years (that were not scheduled and were not part of the season-ticket package) Bradley's attendance has been comparable to Wichita State's in recent years.
