You can reverse a redshirt at anytime. I wouldn't pull the trigger on that though.

Eastman can come off redshrt anytime..not sure he needs to due to depth at guard...

Hang in there DD.....prayers are with you and a quick recovery...

DD will still be a team leader.....BOOK IT!

Really tough break with Dodie going down but with the redshirt this team can't have any excuses next year. We will lose Singh and Roberts but with the talent and depth this team has, they should be a force.

To focus on this season though, I was not impressed with our play down low and unless he is nowhere close to ready, if someone drops the redshirt, I see it being Prosser and not Eastman.

Tough luck for a great kid. He'll be in my prayers also.

This is so disappointing. I feel terrible for DD, but man can we ever catch a break?

Now all we need is a DUI or some good ol' fashion domestic violence charges to really make our season complete.

This really sucks, I need to go make a drink.

its 1 injury...and we still won the game w/o him. Don't get me wrong, this sucks the big one...but its not like this is the end of the season.

Realized this quote looks very negative...my bad DD and DD fans. Hope the recovery goes well and you will be GREATLY missed this season.

I am sure Dodie is trying to see the positive side of this, because that's the kind of kid he is. Mr. and Mrs. Dunson, you did a great job raising Dodie!
I don't really see anything positive, except maybe the fact that we will get to see DD's smiling face around for 2 more years!

                  Good luck Dodie!

Hope everything goes well with surgery and recovery! DD was our best outside shooter last season and I was REALLY looking forward to having him be a big part of our offense this season with AW back. He will be missed, but welcome back to the court next season. Also, he will remain a team leader until his playing days are done!
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

Dodie will overcome...and be back...maybe not this year, but next year as a supersenior team leader...
This helps answer some of the questions about who's gonna get those 3 open scholarships next year, and I am confident Dodie will make the best of it.
He will also continue to be a team leader even off the floor.

It's really a shame. I'm mad about it, and I wish Dodie a great recovery... And if to try to find a bright spot, hope to see him after a redshirt year.

Can you imagine how strong this team will be next year?! .

I just hope DD's extra year doesn't cause BU to lose any guards on the current roster (or those still in the hopper); I really like all of our guards.

I can't get over this. I really can't. I am about to go Lt. Dan on the basketball gods...enough is enough already.
