Excellent question, Larry. It's probably no better than a 50/50 shot. Fairly or not, the bloom is off the rose a bit for the Missouri Valley. Creighton wasn't nearly as well regarded last year as it should have been, and I'm not sure that's going to change for whomever is this season's conference runner-up. I also think the new timing of the MVC final is problematic (as well as the lopsided nature of the last two title games).

It's obvious MVC teams need some wins over the big boys to change this perception!

Sadly, I think it going to take more than just beating some of the 'big boys' in the non-con. The fact of the matter is that the NCAA doesn't want us or any other mids in 'their' tournament.
