Could be that we're looking at 20 minutes for WE, 15 for AT, and 5 for SS at the 5 position this season... I have just reached the head-exploding level of preseason excitement. Try to avoid it every year, but it never works.
Will better be getting more than 5 min more than AT. Thats all I will say about that.

If you were going to play these guys just at the 5, then I'd go with this:

    24
10 (who plays better in that game Thompson or Singh)
    6

BUT I'd like to play big sometime and play Will at the 4 if given the chance...JL will probably never do it, but it would certainly give a different look.

I am, but why shouldn't everyone be? DSE was by far the best looking Freshman on the floor Sunday...

JP is a bit of a surprise if he was scheduled to play the 4! If they see him as a 5 then I understand.

I guess MK will be the 2nd option at the 4.

BTW...SS is not a bad rebounder. Where he get's in trouble is when our guards forget to box out their man and lets them come in on the weak-side. He's not quick enough to make those adjustments but neither is 90% of the bigs out there. We need rebounding to be a team effort every night. If you ever want to see a clinic on team rebounding check out a Tom Izzo team.

Overall, I think this is great news. A bit surpised like some that Prosser is red-shirting. But that definitely means at least AT looks ready to contribute more to the team.

Looking forward to seeing Milos this season too.

I'm happy. I've liked DSE since he was a jr. at Washington. I think BU got the better of the two DI players at that school . I wouldn't say he 'by far' looked the best though. He made a shot and a couple of FT's. He also got burnt plenty on defense. Like I said on Sunday, the freshmen looked like they belonged, but all looked a little green to me. DSE was no different. Physically he is definitely more ready to play than Eastman, so this move doesn't surprise me. From all reports it sounds like Milos has been the best of the bunch thus far, and the substitution order Sunday seemed to support that. We'll see if this bears out during the season.

In an emergency we can always 'unredshirt' a guy, but I think this is a very, very good move for the long term success of this program. Believe me, Eastman and Prosser in Year 5 will give us more than they every could have in Year 1.
I don't think anyone can say it better than that BradleyBrave

When JP is ready to play I would like to see him at the 4 spot playing with another big player and a good sized 3 player. We have a chance to play big in the next few years... I just hope that we do. I'm so sick of seeing 3 guards and being undersized against just about everyone we play. In other words, I do not want to see a 5 spot rotation next year with WE, AT and JP all sharing only the 5 spot time. I think more than one of those guys can play together. I'm just afraid our coach will never see it that way which is one contributing factor to BU not finishing above 4th place during the Les' 7 year tenure.

I like it because trying to get 13 players time on the floor is pretty much impossible, this will only help both these players and the team further down the road, it also says how much better our program is now then seceral seasons ago.
Will Egolf will play around 28-30 minutes a game as long as he stays out of foul trouble, Anthony Thompson is only going to get better as he gets more time on the floor.

And it still could happen this year, playing big, and like you and many others, I hope we do.

We probably had two 6' 8" players on the floor when Milos was in the game on Sunday. And we'll probably see more of him throughout the year. In Egolf's freshman year, I remember seeing him on the floor at the same time as David Collins early in the season.

With this many taller players, if they come along as planned, then we'll probably get our bigger line-up.
