As odd as this may sound....and it'll probably hint at my advanced age..
I have had the honor and pleasure to include among those I have served in my profession, veterans from the Spanish American War (yup- seriously!), WWI, WWII, Korea, Vietnam, Grenada, Desert Storm, Kosovo, and both the Iraq & Afghanistan wars...
I have yet to meet a vet (and I am actually married to one, a USAR nurse)that I don't feel compelled to thank him or her for their service.
