  • Off Topic on Buffalo Wild Wings

Just an FYI, 2 guys just robbed the BWW in Grand Prairie about 20 mins ago. One guy had a gun and another tazed the female employee twice, they then tied her up and took her purse. Now PPD just chased the car the guys fled in and they just crashed by Bradley at University & St. James. Both guys fled on Ft onto the Bradley campus. That's what all the sirens are right now if your up and hearing them lol.

I'm sure the employee wouldn't think that was funny. Hope they don't make it off campus.
What part of illegal don't you understand?

BU sent out a message through ForeWarn to all students signed up for it saying "Police are looking for a robbery suspect in the general area of campus. They would like all studnets to stay in dorms or apartments. Will send notivication of an all clear. Lock Down Immediately! Wait for further instructions" at 2:41am.

I assume that was ForeWarn but it didn't have the normal ForeWarn beginning which makes me wonder if it is that system. The text came from 35842 which should be some kind of program.

With the mispellings, I seriously wonder if it actually is BU Forewarn. Either way we haven't received anything since then.

and there was totally about 40 or so students that came out of their buildings and were looking at the car and fence, hence the picture I have, would have been nice to know we were potentially endangering ourselves, not finding out till about 40 minutes later

Yeah that is very surprising it came so late. Guess I won't be getting much sleep tonight which I don't like because I have a test at noon. Awesome. Hopefully we will get an all clear soon.

BU ForeWarn The immediate danger has passed. Use caution when leaving shelter.

What does that mean? Should I sleep soundly tonight thinking that there is no danger on campus anymore when I live off campus but still really close to campus? Oh well, bed time. I'll be back on in the morning BradleyFans.

You're right. Best never to inject 'comic relief'.

I shoulda just deleted the thread. But you know what... I'd rather leave this for everyone to pick on me and make me the villain therefore they can take all their aggression out on me and relieve their stress that way.

Hope you and others feel better.

And I hope the jack-arses are caught.

I didn't see a single thing about this on the PJS web site, what gives?

I guess I am impressed with our fine Bradley fan base...we not only have a detailed report but even a picture and a report from both the crime scene and the scene of the crash!

Sounds like they hit the big black metal fence that separates the Singles Buildings & Geisert Hall from University St, through the median and shrubbery, and over towards the GCC. Must have been going pretty dang fast to get through all of that...

Would love the PJS to put up SOME kind of coverage here. This just fits in with all of those other robberies/assaults that have been occurring on the north side of Peoria...

It must not have involved any Bradley players. If it did they would be all over the story...

I would guess they were doing at least 60-70 MPH, the chase started at University & War Drive and they crashed about 2 minutes later. Looks like they caught 1 guy and they have prints all over the inside of the car, so it's only a matter of time before the other one is caught. Crazy stuff, very rare for a robbery in the Grand Prairie area.
