  • Creighton's Justin Carter injured

I didn't see this posted here yet... Carter could be gone a long time, and CU isn't deep in the post.

Don't putt until the cup stops movin'

That would be huge. His Knee buckled on a wet spot on the floor!

I don't root for injuries, especially ones that would be detrimental to the league. I hope it's nothing serious. We need CU to be great so it means that much more when we beat them.

despite being 6-4, he was their leading rebounder last year as a 1st year juco transfer..and he was being counted on this season for both scoring and rebounding..
most MCL injuries are also accompanied by some cartilege damage...so his MRI will reveal what's wrong...

might have been part of the season ticket package, as we also had a lot of empty seats...

clearly some prime seating sections, like right behind the Creighton bench were half empty

also - Casey Harriman has swine flu! and Millard sat out injured.

"Creighton played without junior forward Casey Harriman, whom Altman said has been sick since Thursday. Harriman started the Wednesday exhibition against Missouri Western.

???He's got the swine flu,??? said Altman, who added: ???I'm not sure it's the
swine flu. He's really sick, and that's the common thing to blame it on right
now. Casey's not even close to being ready.???
CU also was without 6-8 forward Chad Millard, recovering from a foot injury
suffered six weeks ago. Millard suited up against Missouri Western but
watched Sunday's contest in street clothes."

I would consider that good news for the Bluejays. If I recall JC missed some time with a similar injury a few years ago.
