Thanks.....
Check with the Will Call folks tomorrow. I think they usually have the unclaimed season tickets there prior to the first game. I've picked up my season tickets there two or three times
5,000 would be the lowest attendance ever for a game that was part of the season ticket package. I don't see that happening. I remember a non-conference game that took place the night of a blizzard a couple years ago that drew thousands more than that.

Say what? That was a Northern Iowa game. Attendance was so sparce, Paul Herzog asked the upper bowl folks to move to the lower bowl so it would not look so bad on TV
I am talking fannies in seats, not seats sold.
Bears+ NFL+ Great weather+Sunday+Exhibition game=mediocre attendance.
Well we will know in 3 hours
OK, but in the MVC, official attendance is reported as tickets sold. It will be reported in tomorrow's paper as around 8000.
By the way, do you have any idea how many season tickets were sold this year?
I believe, unfortunately, due to the economy they would have to be less than last year.

Exactly. Besides, nobody has control over the people that have tickets and decide not to show up. Others are probably just unable to make it due to other circumstances. Either way, the official attendance will be higher than 5,000. I guess it's a matter of defining "attendance". Personally, I would much rather count the people that come through the gates at every college basketball game, but that wouldn't be the "paid" attendance.
???People say, ???Forget last year', but I want our guys to remember that one, because that will not happen again. We will be much better.??? Geno Ford, 9/22/12

If a tree falls in a forest and nobodys around, does it make a sound?

The Northern Iowa game was about 10 years ago, the day after the big storm. Small but loud crowd.
