I didn't see this posted anywhere else, but Isaiah Thomas lost his FIU coaching debut to Northwood, and NAIA school coached by Rollie Massimino. The score was 71-61.

that is pretty weird...as Isiah was said to have recruited pretty well...and surely was expected to do better than to lose by double digits to an incredibly obscure DII, Northwood.

this does not bode well for FIU, whose next game is the big one against North Carolina that Isiah threatened to boycott and not show up, as he was afraid to play them...

I particularly liked this one: Thomas further commented, "I've been on the losing side for a while now - the CBA, the Knicks, sexual harassers - and I felt it was time I finally got back on the winning side. Cancer is undefeated so far, so I think joining that side will benefit my career."
