  • BU exhibition game- Sunday, Nov. 8 at 2:05 pm vs. Lewis University

Bradley's first and only exhibition game is Sunday, November 8 at Carver Arena. It is part of this year's season ticket package. Bradley played Lewis last season in an exhibition on Nov. 3, 2008, and BU won 74-61. Lewis returns a number of players from last year's team.

Lewis played their first exhibition against Notre Dame on Sunday night, Nov. 1st. They hung close with Notre Dame and Big East Player of the Year Luke Harangody for most of the game, but lost 70-54.
Lewis held a 44-42 lead with 14 minutes left in the game, but Harangody scored 18 of his 33 points in the final 12:42 to put it away for Notre Dame. So. guard Chris McClellan lead Lewis with 18 points and was 4-9 from three. 6-10 so. center Marty Strus had 14 points and 11 rebounds for Lewis. Guard Dennis Thomas was a prolific three-point shooter last year, but was just 1-7 against Notre Dame.
Notre Dame's starters played big minutes in this preseason exhibition. Senior Luke Haragody (36 minutes), senior Tory Jackson (37 minutes), senior Jonathan Peoples (35 minutes), and senior Ben Hansbrough (35 minutes), and junior Tyrone Nash (25 minutes). Only 4 reserves played at all for Notre Dame, and 2 of them only got into the game for the last 1 minute. Only 1 of Notre Dame's baskets was scored by someone other than their starters.

Could be another good test for us. If they played Notre Dame competitively.

We should be tested from Brazil and the pre season. Hopefully BYU won't be as ready to go in the early season.

I don't think ND is very good. Regardless though, Lewis will be a good challenge for us right out of the blocks.

I suspect Lewis will play mostly a zone defense against us.

I hope Bradley worked on their offense against a zone in their closed scrimmage.

Apparently ND doesn't have many players...

We're a whole lot deeper than they are...interesting enough...

Like I said in my other post, in the past, the zone has make or break written all over it for this team...

I think we have more shooters this year, but we shall see.

Jim said they were able to play vs specific types of defense during his radio show his am.

Sorry, discussion of events from Saturday's scrimmage is strictly forbidden by NCAA rules. We wouldn't want the NCAA to enforce some penalty against this site!

Also, this thread is for discussion of the BU-Lewis game.

OK, but I thought we were talking about winning Saturdays game, all games, some of the interviews with past coach's about winning and losing. Must of got on last Saturdays scrimmage while I went out to try to play golf. Anyway I can deal with it, as you have been really great and are doing what you think is right Thanks
PS: B4L and T please PM me those clips of those coach's, if you would, Thanks

Do we know if the players will sign autographs after the game? My children love this part of past exhibitions.
