The guys played really well last night and have an even bigger test tonight against Duqense (sp?) who won the A-10 regular season title last year.

Bradley (1-0-1) tied Duquesne Saturday night 1-1, to win the Bradley Classic tournament title. Freshman Chris Cutshaw scored the only Bradley goal, his second of the season.

Bradley players Chris Cutshaw (MVP), Mike Haynes (BU goalkeeper), James Hedges, and Zach Bell made the All Tournament team.

PEORIA, Ill. -- Bradley freshman Chris Cutshaw (Carmel, Ind./Carmel H.S.) scored for the second straight game, tallying the tying goal in the 72nd minute as the Braves (1-0-1) battled back for a 1-1 draw Saturday night versus Duquesne (1-0-1) to to win its second consecutive Bradley Classic championship. The Braves, who beat third-place finisher St. Francis (Pa.) 3-0 Friday night, finished the tournament with a +3 goal differential. Although sharing an identical 1-0-1 tournament record, Duquesne's 2-1 win Friday versus Western Michigan (0-2-0) provided only a +1 goal differential and a runner-up tournament finish.

Bradley freshman, and former high school All American Chris Cutshaw was named the first Missouri Valley Offensive Player of the Year by the Valley.

LOUIS -- Bradley freshman forward Chris Cutshaw (Carmel, Ind./Carmel H.S.) is the season's first Brine/Missouri Valley Conference Offensive Player of the Week in men's soccer, according to an announcement from the league office this afternoon. A NSCAA High School All-American last year, Cutshaw was voted the Most Valuable Player during the season-opening Bradley Classic by leading the host Braves (1-0-1) to the tournament title for the second consecutive year.

Bradley plays their first road game today at Cincinnati. The game is at 4:00 and is not available on local radio or video. Cincinnati received a few votes in the preseason poll, and they won their opening match 2-1 in overtime against Xavier.
