The rest might make some on football or basketball, but lose elsewhere so the net is a loss.
One noticable fact, that despite the significantly higher cost of supplying scholarships at private schools (like Bradley, since the tuition is way higher than state schools which are subsidized BY THE TAXPAYERS despite the spin we always hear about the athletic depts. being self-sufficient!!)
the facts show the private schools are generally MORE fiscally responsible and do better in regards to balancing the budgets!
Of course-- they don't have the freedom to stiff taxpayers for the overruns!
