  • Can a Player Sign a LOI Now?

I don't think they can, but apparently Steve Alford knows a way to get it done.
CBS Sports features live scoring, news, stats, and player info for NFL football, MLB baseball, NBA basketball, NHL hockey, college basketball and football.

The kid is 6-11 coming offa 10 inch growth spurt over the past 24 months, has only been playing basketball for 2 years, and
    weighs 195 lbs.
I'm gonna stick my neck out and say this kid will not contribute immediately.

He might be able to find some time on BU's front line this year.
    Onward and Upward!

      A 6'11 kid named Crawford?

Where have I heard that before?
???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

Of course, the answer is no. They can only be signed during the 2 signing periods of a high schooler's senior year or a juco's soph year. What a kid can sign now is a "scholarship agreement". I think it is a legallly binding contract, but it is not recognized by the NCAA as official. I believe Bradley and most schools ask their recruits and all scholarship athletes in all sports to sign one each year.

But both of those articles distinctly state the kid signed a
          "national letter of intent".
