The kid is 6-11 coming offa 10 inch growth spurt over the past 24 months, has only been playing basketball for 2 years, and
weighs 195 lbs.
I'm gonna stick my neck out and say this kid will not contribute immediately.

Of course, the answer is no. They can only be signed during the 2 signing periods of a high schooler's senior year or a juco's soph year. What a kid can sign now is a "scholarship agreement". I think it is a legallly binding contract, but it is not recognized by the NCAA as official. I believe Bradley and most schools ask their recruits and all scholarship athletes in all sports to sign one each year.
