JL will be around a few more years primarily to see what he can do with the new facilities. Clearly most of the money was raised by him (from big buck supporters) for these facilities and he deserves the chance.
I don't think we will see anything significant changing unless he brings in a seasoned new coach to help him. He has two years to make it work either way.

I also don't want to see that happen. As much as I want a coaching change, another off-field incident doesn't help the program or the school.JL are not respunsible foor the string of injunrys....

"Zenger, .....ISU athletics director in April 2005, said his evaluation of coaches in any ISU sport centers on three areas - recruiting, program management and coaching."
"In each of those three areas, I would tell you the program had merit and also is lacking," said Zenger. "When those were weighed against each other, the decision was to go in a different direction." Porter Moser's Firing....
Their new direction has gone to two consecutive MVC tournament finals and NIT tounaments...no coaching change slump there as several posters have feared if BU ever tried to go in another direction...
If this year flops for BU, I can't help but think next year is JL's 'Rubicon' as far as demonstrating his program can reach the success he tantilized us with his team in 2005-6..BUilding for the Future
