  • Indiana State recruit

Steve McWhorter from Racine St. Catherine verbals to Indiana State,
he is a 6-2 guard who also reportedly says he had offers from Ball State, Eastern Illinois, Eastern Kentucky, North Dakota, South Dakota and UW-Green Bay.
He is ranked 11th in Wisconsin's Class of 2010.

He's a little bit "under the radar screen", as McWhorter is not listed by scout.com and Rivals has him as zero stars

Walker is a really big guy, 6'8", 245 pounds, who was recruited as a football player out of high school.
But last season at South Plains junior college he played backup to another center, Markhuri Sanders-Frison, who was 6'8", 287 pounds! He signed with Cal, and will play there this year.

Myles Walker is described as a defensive specialist. His offensive stats are less than impressive. He won't win many games at the free throw line.
      Here are his stats-
As a freshman for coach Steve Green at South Plains, Walker averaged 7.4 points and 4.8 rebounds, while shooting 46.7 percent from the floor and 38.6 percent (32 for 83) from the free-throw line.

Myles Walker, who played basketball for 2 years at Indiana State and has used up his basketball eligibility, will return to playing football for 1 more year.
He was a pretty good football player in high school and was recruited as middle linebacker and wide receiver by several D1 football programs.
He plans on playing football this fall for Indiana State-

Their roster lists nobody named Doyle but they do have Connor Underwood from Washington

I think maybe he's redshirting as he was mentioned in this academic honor release
17 student-athletes highlight more than 300 who earned selection to the 2011-12 Missouri Valley Football Conference Honor Roll, as announced by the league office. Those 17 student-athletes earned the league's highest academic achievement by capturing the Missouri Valley Football Conference President's Council Academic Excellence Award.
