  • State Farm TOC Update

    The 4th Annual State Farm Tournament of Champions is right around the corner- November 24-28th @ Washington High School. According to Hoopsusa.com and Hoopmasters.com, this national event is now officially the #1 Thanksgiving Tournament in the country!

    Go to www.sftofc.org to find out about the teams and players in this year's event. 26 Teams- 4 events- 9 states and several All-America players!

    Here are some highlight teams and players:

    * Findlay College Prep from Henderson, Nevada is the #1 ranked team in the nation! They will play against Brehm Prep-IL, Bradenton IMG Academies- FL and Quality Education Academy from Winston-Salem, NC in the Team Works National Classic.

    All-America players include- 6'10" Sr. Tristan Thompson, Findlay; 6'3" Sr. Cory Joseph, Findlay; 6'7" Jr. James Siakam, Brehm Prep; 6'6" Jr. Dre' Henley, Brehm Prep; 6'10" Sr. Dwight Powell, IMG Academies and 6'9" Jr. Quincy Miller of QEA.

    * The MMCI will have a new look- 8 teams! Peoria Notre Dame will look to run the table against several top notch teams throughout Illinois and from around the nation. Bradley recruits- Tyler Les and Max Bielfeldt will try to stave off Sherman, TX and their All-America, 6'7" Sr. Cameron Clark as well as Little Rock Hall, AR and their star- 6'7" Jr. David Rivers.

    Washington, Champaign Central, East Peoria, O'Fallon and Springfield will also push for the title of this tournament.

    * Chicago De La Salle and their 6'8" Jr. All-America- Mike Shaw will look to win the National City Invitational as the Meteors challenge Culver Military Academy-IN, St. Louis Soldan-MO and Lake Forest Academy-IL.

    Culver returns four starters and have added 7'1" Jr. Cheir Ajou to their lineup. Soldan is a young but very talented squad and LFA is led by a slew of DI players, including 6'7" sr. Remi N'diaye.

    * Five shootout games will also be played:

    1- Chillicothe IVC v. Gary Bowman Academy, IN
    * Indiana's #1 ranked small school- Bowman Academy is led by 6'6" So. De Juan Marrero (Top 25 Sophomore)

    2- Salt Fork v. Delavan
    * Brady Zimmer looks to lead the Panthers against the talented team from Catlin.

    3- Varna Midland v. St. Louis Whitfield, MO
    * Adam Varvil and the T-Wolves will look to outgun Missouri's 2A state runnerups- led by 6'4" Sr. Julian Johnson.

    4- Hazelwood Central, MO v. Limestone
    * Hazelwood Central is rated as the 3rd best team in the state of Missouri. Donivine Stewart will look to outscore the Hawk's two stars- B.J. Young and Jordan Wilson.

    5- Sussex Hamilton, WI v. El Paso-Gridley
    * 6'7" Jr. Codey Funk will look to lead the Titans past the Chargers of Sussex, WI.

    6'3" Jr. B.J. Young, Hazelwood Central, MO
    6'7" So. Jay Simpson, Champaign Central
    6'8" Sr. Jeff Drew, Little Rock Hall, AR
    6'10" Sr. Juvonte Reddic, Quality Education Academy, NC
    6'7" Sr. Remi N'diaye, Lake Forest Academy
    5'9" Jr. Mark Gilchrese, Springfield

      a premium recruiting article says Juvonte Reddic has blown up and is now hearing from the big boys...
      the article also lists several well known mid-majors who have offered and are strongly pursuing.

        According to that Rivals article, Bradley has offered 6'9" Juvonte Reddic.

        Oral Roberts, James Madison and VCU have also offered.
