  • BradleyBraves.com Video

I just went on the BradleyBraves.com website and logged into my account for the game videos. I was very stoked to see it prompted me to download silverlight by microsoft. Looks like we are going to have high quality video this year. I am even more excited about the upcoming season as an out of stater. Looks like the folks a BradleyBraves.com heard our frustration last year.

You do recall that the biggest problem was the cameras at Carver, right...?

Well, here's to hoping those got upgraded, too!

I remember there were a few quality Carver broadcasts the past few years that appeared to use a different camera angle and the video quality was VERY good. Maybe it was that silverlight tech. I wouldn't know. What I do know though is that it IS possible to get a quality broadcast video at Carver and I'm looking forward to getting it this year.

Any BU insiders (not you MacabreMob as I know you are NOT an insider ) with a definitive answer here? Derek Oddo?

It's the equipment that the feed is going through that makes a real difference. They did say that they were trying to get Carver arena to update it. Basically what you need is a server/device that can handle the load, a few processors and a lot of memory configured correctly. The price for servers have gone down dramatically so I hope cost is not an issue. I'm not sure what application they are using but to me it sounds like BU has spent some money already in that department.
