  • Since they can't keep up with the crooks, NCAA to legalize all phone calls?

Kelvin Sampson, Jim Calhoun, and numerous other coaches have been breaking the rules hundreds...maybe even thousands of times on phone calls...
and getting caught doing it has embarrassed some pretty top institutions...while a lot of the little guys are diligently following the rules.

so the NCAA meets and has a great idea on how to solve this problem...
since it is getting increasingly dificult to control the abuses and monitor all the cheating....
and since apparently the only guys getting caught and getting nailed for breaking the rules are the big boys....

They are considering making all phone calls legal, so the cheats won't ever get caught!
Novel idea.....Kelvin Sampson has probably already got his reinstatement application filled out!

Woulldn't surprise me if the NCAA was getting kick backs from all the cell phone service providers to change the "rules" to allow unlimited cell phone calling by coaches to recruits!

      that is sort of true...
when the best, name players end up on the teams that get the TV exposure, then the NCAA gets more $$ from more TV revenue when more people watch..

thus if a Derrick Rose, Michael Beasley, or #1/5-Star recruit goes to Bradley or Siena, the NCAA likely sees only the massive lost revenue they think they could have made if the kid had gone to Kansas or Kentucky!
