No doubt this is a very tough 1st game on the road but if we play up to our capabilities it should be an interesting game. The trip to Brazil should have toughened up our guys so playing on the road should not be as big a deal as it would if we didn"t return so much experience.

I know it is on the road and in a historically hard place to play but it is their first game also. There should be no excuses going into this one and I'm sure JL will not give us one. What better motivation, as if these guys need one, then starting your season against a top notch team like BYU.

Yea... when the season is over, it will be a correct matchup of the top teams from each conference.

Another brazilian connection to Braves, since Jonathan Tavernari is brazilian and member of Brazilian NT that won the FIBA Americas title weeks ago.

And we should have the advantage over most teams early on since we've already played a pre-season.

                JK. Getting back at ya.
Many of the games were actually already scheduled before the MVC-MWC challenge was announced. I believe CU and another team were already scheduled to play MWC teams, BU was the top team left. No one really knew UNI was going to be as tough as they are at the time. (EARLY last fall)
