I don't have a problem if T or for that matter anyone else bringing up issues of other schools and how they handed out discipline to their players. But in no way should /what these schools did, be a outline or be guidelines to how BU handles its players. I'm sure Jim Les would NEVER use this approach in handing out discipline to one of his players.
When growing up, when us 5 kids did something wrong (and there was plenty of times) mom NEVER called around the neighborhood to ask the other moms what they did to discipline Johnie or Susie or how they would handle us! She had her own way of bringing the heat on us and she could of give a F__K about how they were handled or not! We were family just as BU is and any troubles was handled in our house by the head of it our (MOM).
JL will handle TB issue and it will have to be done in a way that it sends a strong/right message to all the players that what he did was wrong and will not be tolerated! If he blows this off as just a college fight then what happens the next time and the next time?

OK this thread should be locked up now because this is getting a little over the top. What TB did was no where close to a DUI or any of those other things attributed other athlete's. TB should not be suspended for any of our games at this point, PERIOD IMO. The punishment should fit the crime. I'm done with this thread and any other one that discusses TB's situation. I hope he learned his lesson and the guy who did not belong on campus never steps on it again.

Quite possibly the worst Bears game i've seen in my 15 years watching the Bears full time. I didn't think it could get any worse than Orton or Grossman LOL. Well hopefully my fantasy teams keep me interested this season.

I'm sure if your intent on heading onto the campus is to cause problems I bet you would not be wanted. This has nothing to do with heading to BU for a little fun if you are not a student but going anywhere looking for trouble or knowing that there could be trouble. It would be like me heading to a Yankee game wearing a Red Sox hat. I'm just not foolish enough to attempt that.

Chico we just see things differently and after all these years on this site we may agree on 95% of the issues but not on all. On the other TB thread you said that you like to see a lot of police force, or something like that, I on the other hand prefer not to see any! Just our differences.

Thanks for everything you're saying here SFP! Chico , the White Sox are only 6 games out and they play 6 against the Tigers, any chance? The Bears game sucked last night but at least I had my steak and potatoes for the first time in about 3 months, need to eat that more, I felt good this morning.

Besides, didn't the newspaper report the nameless kid was "intimidated" by TB? Seems to me he went out of his way to be in the same place as TB on the Bradley campus!

totally agree brown shouldnt be suspended,a few early morning training sessions should be at most his punishment, he didnt beat the kid senseless he split his lip at the most.

I don't know, I sorta liked the game. IMO if the Sox hadn't made the Peavy trade they would be in contention now.
