Tell what to the Packer fans? That he held them hostage two summers ago? Im sure they know that. Look the dude is a flat out prima donna and a nacissist but when he plays he still is a top flight QB in the NFL.

He legacy in Green Bay was solitified on the field, regardless of what he did the last two summers, that has zero effect on his playing legacy. His personal legacy with Green Bay fans and to a lesser extent Jets fans has been blown up in flames but that will have zero affect on his hall of fame induction and I will guarantee you he will have his name enshrined at Lambeau in their ring of fame. His on the field accomplishments can not be dismissed because of his love of well alot of Brett Favre.

I am not disputing he is a great QB. He is, we all know it. However, I should clarify he will never have the PERSONAL legacy he could have had due to the decisions he made. In fact, I think most packer fans would have been ok with it eventually, had he not went to the vikings. That is just as bad as my beloved Jim Edmonds wearing cubbie blue. No longer will he be thought of as this great Lambeau hero without that asterisk of, he played for the vikings. Great QB? Yes. HOF QB? Yes. Did he push away many of his once unquestioned supporters? probably. Only time will tell.
