I'm sorry to hear that, it was a fun place to watch two Bradley basketball games. It's a prime chunk of land so I think things will work out for Hoffman Estates. One of the things they didn't do right is design the parking lots very well, curbs everywhere to individual small lots, it seemed like it took an hour to get out of there after the games. They needed just a couple big parking lots with two lanes heading out rather than one.

Game notes: that Rutgers game was one of the best I've ever seen in person, 60+ points in the first half! We blew them out. That was a fun game to watch.

And then the next day we played Illinois and if I remember right we gave up our biggest lead of the season to lose a game

We came out hot again in the first half and BW started to panic, JS was not suppose to play, the Illini fans were calling for him, so BW puts him in and he hits a couple of big shots to bring the Illini back BUT he gets re-injured and then we all know what happened over the next year or so. BW should have held his injured player out, things might have worked out much differently.

Go Braves, lets get in a position to play them again this year. Its been way too long since we last beat the Illini.

This years tourney includes Notre Dame, Northwestern, Iowa State, Saint Louis...

The Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates has gone belly up and is folding...

Sadly...here's the worst of it as the Village of Hoffman Estates had made concessions and financial guarantees to lure the venture...
"Hoffman Estates taxpayers could be on the hook for $90 million over the next 20 years
(to cover the bonds plus interest) if the village winds up owning the complex, said Village President William McLeod."

It really sucks, I already had my front row seats ordered for the Sears Centre. Now, I have to go to the UIC Pavillion which is 23 miles farther from where I am staying with a friend and try to get front row seats again.
