    • I would certainly hope that wouldn't happen LOL. It's already happened once this season in college football and Oregon set the bar by banning the player for the whole season.

Most of us are guys and understand what happens when you are young and dumb and full of raging testosterone. I'm not saying it is right what happened but things like this happens mostly with young male adults. Why do you think our drinking age is such? It's not that we are any smarter it's just that men learn how to deal with their emotions a bit more as we age.

Some even forget how they behaved back when and try to act morally above the fray. I saw a few split lips in my days and I never once saw anyone call the cops, especially if one went looking for it. I'm totally against violence of any shape or form but a man has to be able to defend his honor and who are we to be sitting high and mighty dispensing our morality regarding a situation where all the details have not been established, less publicized. If you believe everything you hear and read in the papers/media then there is no way I could reason with you anyway. There's a lot more to this then any of us will probably know and I for one believe the PJS should not have made this front and center without all the facts. Newspapers use to strive to cover the facts in its entirety and not go into sensationalism.

Yes, one understand that most of you are driven by testosterone.

We would wish however that you would think with your brains and realize that physical violence solves nothing and only creates more violence.

You were the one who twice said TB was in the wrong by being at Macy's and "staring at the guy"

you said it in this post-
"If you worked at a public place like Macy's and..someone.... came into your place of work to stare at you
... that could be considered stalking or threatening.."

                and again in this post-
"...that TB was at this guys place of work (Macy's) and... the police were called.."

then your explanation of why you think that was wrong on TB's part is to say...
"The other guy had every right to be at his job didn't he? "

of course....but Taylor Brown has every legal right to be at Macy's and to stare at anything he wants...
in fact I suspect Macy's loves to have people come in and stare....so how in creation can that be construed as illegal or threatening...
sounds a little bit babyish on the part of the accuser...a little paranoid...maybe even a little bit made-up and exaggerated.

personally I think the degree to which these allegations appear to have been inflated and exaggerated....and yet still sound pretty paltry and weak...make me, again, think there's an agenda.
T, you have my post and others mixed up. Only one of those quotes are mine. Anyway, I don't think Macy's thinks it's appropriate for a customer to stare at an employee to intimdate him. If TB actually did go to Macy's and do this, in that respect he was wrong.
What part of illegal don't you understand?

I find it amazing that you call a team "thugs" because of TRAFFIC VIOLATIONS, regardless of how many, but are defending battery charges! You cannot be serious can you?

                    • BTW- unless you are talking about someone other then Osiris... all of his traffic tickets were speeding, seat belts, and operating and uninsured motor vehicle.... so he didn't have his insurance card with him... If he truly didn't have insurance, they he would have had his license suspended... but clearly did not or he would have been ticketed/arrested for that during his last stop...

I am not lawyer but none of those are misdemeanor's...

Hey there I've seen women create their own form of violence on each other so let's spread the love around a bit. We have testosterone. What's with women clawing into each other?

                                this is not true...
several are "Ordinance Violations" which are underage drinking, public drunkenness, even battery and other such tickets..
even pot & other drug possession cases fall under this category......
At least two of the violations by the "star player" mentioned are such ordinance violations.
...these are not all just traffic tickets...some are quite serious - serious enough that some newspapers make huge deals that last weeks about it.

Here are some representative Ordinance Violations direct from the McLean Co. web site...

And several at SIU were underage drinking where the player continued to play every game, even the one within hours after his court appearance.

BTW- a misdemeanor battery charge that required a $100 bail be posted...
Even if you shoplift a 25 cent pack of gum from WalMart, you'd have to post a bigger bail...
so someone sure must have thought this was pretty minor and that TB was NOT a threat to anyone.
