Isn't it common that ICC students hang out around BU? He was apparently at the BU soccer game so he does hang out at BU events. I am sure there are several ICC students that hang out at BU. TB and this person have a mutual friend, so maybe he was going to see him? No one will probably ever know why he was there... and BTW- 11:30pm is not "late on a Saturday" on a college campus... 3am is "late"

Nacho--you actually bring up an important cultural point at BU...
Most who were at BU in the mid-to-late 90's are probably aren't aware of how many local kids and ICC kids go to BU today.
Back in the 1990's there was a fair amount of shame to be local and go to Bradley. Not sure why it was that way.
About 7 years or so ago, that began to change in a big way. A lot more local kids go to Bradley. A lot of locals eventually go to Bradley by way of ICC.
Summers used to be a dead time around campus, but now, it's not uncommon to have multi-house parties in the summer as kids come back from other schools. . .
So you have a lot more interaction between Bradley and ICC students on and around campus.

I think its interesting that this went down outside of Haussler Hall. Anybody been to campus recently? To actually be outside of Haussler Hall (and not the Markin Center) would be very difficult with the construction in the area.
Also, there isn't any reason for anyone who isn't an athlete to ever walk closerto Haussler than Markin or Morgan as Haussler is strictly athletics at this point.
Curious that this unidentified man would be that close to somewhere he has absolutely no business being. Hmmm.

One correction... the mutual friend is not a "him". That may explain things better, and it may explain why a guy from ICC is hanging around Bradley. He is not a Bradley student.
Also, I am fairly certain this guy is not a Bradley soccer fan.
And one more clarification- It's my understanding that there was a Bradley fraternity party going on in Haussler Hall that was the reason TB was there. There were also non-BU students at the party, as there always are. The altercation occurred outside of Haussler, but TB went back into the party.
I am somewhat amused by references in the Dave Reynolds article about TB visiting Macy's, making gestures (whatever is meant by that?), or staring. When has any of that been a crime? Why is it even mentioned in the article, and why does anyone care?

Who knows what is true and what is not... if TB was going to shop there, happened to see him, and stared him down for a little bit- no big deal. If he went there to specifically stare at him, there is a problem with that. It's boarderline stalking...

Now if the victim came to start trouble with TB because he knew he was there, that is no different then TB going to his work or making threatening gestures to him at the soccer game. Both parties are in the wrong.

Not trying to start a fight here by any means, just voicing my opinion... Until all the facts come out, its basically a moot point. This guy could be making everything up and split his own lip for all we know... it also could be the case that TB had done this before and just now did the guy call the cops... its all speculation at this point
Edit: I am not sure if circumstancial evidence is the term I am looking for there... maybe something more like a contributing factor...
