A couple of interesting things about their picks-
They name incoming freshman John Wall of Kentucky as the preseason Player of the Year!
Yet their Freshman of the Year is not John Wall, but Derrick Favors of Georgia Tech!
Few preseason picks also name a preseason Coach of the Year, but FoxSports names Jeff Capel of Oklahoma as preseason-COY, thought they concede that Oklahoma will likely finish a distant 3rd in the Big 12.
They name 2 players each from Kentucky, and Kansas on the 1st and 2nd teams.
And they pick a Midmajor (non-BCS) All American team, and they show no love for the MVC or for Osiris Eldridge. Their midmajor team consists of-
Edwin Ubiles, Siena
Luke Babbitt, Nevada
Larry Sanders, VCU
Matt Bouldin, Gonzaga
Gordon Hayward, Butler
These are all nice players, but I can think of a number of players from midmajors and non-BCS schools that I would rate as better players.
