Bradley loses recruit- Mareceo Rutledge- to UNLV

6'3" high scoring shooting guard from Yuba Community College, Mareceo Rutledge, has committed to play for Lon Kruger at UNLV next year (2007-200. In this article it says he chose UNLV over Bradley and Long Beach State. This article also has an bit of history about how Rutledge was working at a low wage job and out of basketball for 3 years before enrolling at Yuba last year and becoming a star. It would have been nice to see him at Bradley, but the guard position will be crowded for Bradley in 2007-2008. He will play 1 more season at Yuba for coach Doug Cornelius.

Tough for BU to compete because he wanted to stay close to home so his mom could watch him play.
The kid really has a great upside!
