Am I reading this right..........if we would win we would play.....................the illini?
I would think the Illini would not be to thrilled to play us on a neutral court. I would love to play them. Imagine the bragging rights for us! There's not too much they would gain from winning. That is why they do not want to play us during the regular season (speculation). JL did say he has called a few BCS schools to see if they want to schedule a home and away. I wonder if the Illini's were one of them. I'd also rather play a BCS school in the 1st round then a fellow mid-major. Nevada has a pretty good team and they could be a sleeper in the tourney.
I think the NCAA would like to see the better mid-majors beat each other while the BCS's bubble teams beat the the lesser teams and then in the 2nd round match the BCS big guns with the better mid-majors and have the bubble BCS play each other. This way the BCS schools who run the NCAA can say I told you so. It will be very interesting to see the brackets come Sunday.
