I think it would be more fun to have a pint with the coaches at Jimmy's bar.

???We all want Bradley to win. If our methods and visions for that are different, then so be it. Don't ever attempt to tell me I am not a fan!???

I thought he did, but I haven't been there in a while... Maybe we could have 3 point "shots" for the Braves at Jimmys?

As far as I know... he still does. Been a while since I've been there, but have talked with some who have been and with a couple bartenders from there (one still works there)... it's still Jimmy's.

                  Fine establishment.

Jimmy's isn't just a fine establishment, it's easily the best bar in Peoria.

A reminder - we're less than a month away from the big weekend...

note there will also be a HUGE Tailgate Party!!

Starting a few hours before the 7PM soccer game against #21 ranked Drake...there will be a Giant Tailgate...
Anyone who went to the tailgate party last year will testify that it was a tremendous event where the players and the coaches were all there, talking with fans, and very approachable!

Here is the notice at the present time...

                      "The Big Fiesta!
Tailgate Party & Pep Rally, Shea Stadium ??? 4:00-7:00 p.m.
Shea Stadium will feature college and department tailgating tents, a full Mexican buffet ($), live
entertainment by "Mike & Joe," and a spirited Pep Rally to kick off the soccer game against Drake.
Meet students and faculty, deans and fellow alumni at the Fiesta!"

Here are some posts from lastyear's great event...

Mark it on your calendar...October 3, both the Coffee with the Coaches, and the pregame Tailgate --

I am glad that they are hiring a band to play at this tailgate party. It sounds like a lot of fun.

Mike & Joe is a great band. They're a very popular cover band, and their concerts are always very good. The students should come out for this no doubt...
People need to recognize there is a huge difference between playing hard, and playing well...

Not sure Jimmy still owns it but someone does. Had two cold ones on my way home after shooting 69 at Newman The new event sounds like fun!
