Only ten days later than last year at this point. Not sure why it would matter as the conference schedule hasn't been released yet either. Bradley could release the rest of their home schedule today and those people who have plans to make would still not know when the other nine games are taking place. I don't think this would be resolved by having a full-time AD in place.

Same goes for last year when we had a full-time AD in place.

That could easily be a cost-cutting effort and could very well have happened even if we had a full-time AD in place.

Is the delay directly associated with the delayed MVC conference schedule? Maybe all our non-con games are settled as we're waiting on Elgin and friends.

I wouldn't think so, but I did notice on another board that at least one isu fan seems to think the release of the Valley schedule is somehow dependent on isu announcing their schedule.

Every response I was formulating exists in shaunguth's post. The economy seems to have a pretty big impact. Unless you forgot to "take your head out of the sand" as you so nicely put it, you would have noticed that most schools are doing similar things in order to reduce costs.

the team may only play one exhibition due to the unusual circumstances, but we will have to wait & see.

Alot of schools only do one exhibition now and play in one "closed door" scrimmage with another school. There is no score kept and no media or fans allowed. It gives an opportunity for teams to against other teams, in a practice environment, so coaches can stop the game at any time to instruct their team...

I do. Hope conflicts are minimal as I'd be very conflicted. Conflictingly, or something.

Just what we needed. A directional powerhouse comes to Carver! Keep up the great work, I can see the packed house now on a Monday for Western Carolina! Woohoo! sigh.
