Dave's column about Bradley's game last night-
In a pre-game ceremony, the Braves presented de Souza with his Bradley Hall of Fame photo that previously hung in the Robertson Field House foyer.
De Souza played just one year for Bradley, averaging 14.2 points and 4.5 rebounds for the 1975-76 Braves.
At halftime, de Souza called his Bradley coach, Joe Stowell, in Peoria and talked of plans to come back to Peoria next year.
???It was really good to talk to Marcel,??? Stowell said. ???He was really impressed with our quickness and our defense. The Brazilians aren??™t used to pressure defense, and they??™re seeing it from us.???
Following Saturday??™s game, the Braves will conclude their travels in Brazil and return home Monday.
