  • More evidence that some coaches continue to go after committed players!

    right from the recruit's mouth........

when some of the Louisville recruits who are verbally committed were asked if they are still solid with Louisville & Pitino,
here's what one of them said................

"Ryan Taylor.... said his commitment to Louisville has not wavered.

Michael Chandler, Taylor’s Lawrence North teammate and also a Louisville
recruit, said he’s also sticking with Pitino .... “I’m still committed unless he leaves.”
Chandler said he is still being recruited by other schools, including
    Illinois
, but that most programs have backed off since his commitment."

    ....
So UIUC is still recruiting a verbally committed player (to another school)? I chuckle over how fired up UIUC fans were over Gordon being recruited by another school while he was verbally committed to UIUC. And now, I bet it is ok.

It was OK when they did it to Justin Dentmon.

even worse...they recruited a player already on scholarship on another D-I roster, but Marcus Arnold turned out to be a dud
