To be honest, this video was a kind of embarassment to basketball fans here.
Marcel and Oscar always were very critical with the recent basketball management here, what is great (Brazil dropped from the 4th place in FIBA Ranking to the 18th place in less than 10 years, after the TERRIBLE last CBB president gestion). But, they always made the critics in...let say...in a goofy way.
So, instead of make some serious actions pro-brazilian basket, they rather make funny and try to gain the media.
That said, Marcel was one of the best players in the brazilian basketball history. He have MUCH respect here.
He was the "Scottie Pippen" from Oscar (our "MJ") generation. It wasnt the best brazilian generation (actually we have a great basketball history in 50/60/70 decades, including 2 world championships and some olympic medals), but it was the most famous to the public, because their sucess came after TV become popular in Brazil.Comment
