Now if there were pics that went along with the last paragraph, then that would be a very good thing!

I'm sure that all the team is thinking about are their studies right now!
        Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final

???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

I'd be refreshing my geometry down there! All those curves that need to be studied.....

I can't believe this was posted to an official university web site. Completely inappropriate and, if I am not mistaken, Taylor Brown is not 21 years old so he shouldn't be talking about drinking on a university web site. Haven't we had enough well-publicized alcohol incidents with Bradley athletes in the past 2-3 years. Just ridiculous.

While it may not be "appropriate" to post such content on the Bradley athletics website, he is doing nothing wrong if he is indeed "drinking". They are in another country, which happens to have a legal drinking age of 18.

Taylor's blog never specifically says he was drinking, or that any of the Braves were drinking. He is describing the culture of the city and the club. Should he be dishonest and hide the facts?

The legal drinking age in Brazil is 18 years old, so everyone who was there was of legal age, and they had numerous adult chaperones. I doubt anyone was being irresponsible.

I think Bradley's basketball team has had fewer issues with alcohol than most schools in recent years. The only one I can recall is the instance where a couple players were cited for the zero-tolerance law when they were stopped for speeding 1 1/2 years ago. There have not been any DUIs, or other alcohol problems with the team, have there?

As long as our players live in a sterile clean room with no windows or anything, we'll all be safe!

He didn't say he was drinking, he was describing the environment he was in.

Thank you DC. You saved me from a lot of typing! This is a great experience for the entire team. let them enjoy the different culture and experiences. When I have travelled, I have come back with a greater appreciation for what we have here. Carpe diem Braves!

So you are assuming that "drinking" means everyone is "drinking" alcohol? Please remember what happens when one assumes.
