DePaul offering freshmen and sophomores

DePaul is going back to offering very young players.

They just recently offered Curtis Jones, a 5'10" point guard from Chicago Orr HS. He will be a sophomore, class of 2012.-

And today it's reported that they offered Jabari Parker, a talented 6'5" guard/forward who will be a freshman.-

Obviously DePaul is desperate. But do the kids in this instance take the offer seriously? But none of these kids would ever commit this early, I wouldn't think.
