New NCAA proposal

The NCAA Board of DSirectors is considering a new proposal to require certain incoming freshmen basketball recruits who need academic help to take summer school.

This sounds to me like a sneaky way for some coaches at high-major schools to get academically ineligible kids in their backdoor. Lets see who this benefits the most.

We will see what they are trying to do with the guidelines set forth. If it is to help the marginal guys that are border line approved I say it is a good thing. Anything else will just blur the lines and benefit the big guys because their guys will be given an express line for approval.
