Heh. Hope the team eats at a lot of churrascarias in Brazil. AT is bound to gain 15 to 20 pounds on this trip.

For those who don't know, a churrascaria is a Brazilian steakhouse that's all you can eat.

A churrascaria is where they bring Pork and beef on a sword and slice it off at your table, once you eat at one of those places you will not find anything better in Brazil. They opened one up recently in St.Louis out towards Arnold,Mo. I have it on my list of places to dine at the next time I travel to St.Louis.

in case anyone interested, I found some video of the Fluminense team playing, but these are not vids of the BU game...

These show a packed house, but the sunlight coming in the window on the end must be distracting.

Fluminense is very well known for the soccer teams they sponsor, but "basquete" (basketball) is the "poor sister"
and is not well known nor as widely followed. Oddly, the basketball team is still called --
"Fluminense FC" (after the futbol club)

I will take that any day against the big, physical international pro players!
Our guards will come around, and when they do, BU will really have some good games.
It's ok, but spread across three players, two of whom could be playing the 4, I would much rather see and reasonably expect 30 pts. and 20 boards for the three combined for this position (this point depends on the total minutes logged, of course). It would be nice to see if a true power forward could emerge on this team and/or be given the opportunity. Until that happens, I dare say the team will not break through. But then again, I had posted this train of thought until I was blue in the face for two years, but oh well, we can keep hoping, espeically with the young guys arriving. I also hope we can have a permitter game again unlike last season, but that will likley hinge all on Warren for this season. I really hope the kid bounces back and the fans give him some time if need be.
