CAMP NOTES: Davis noted that more than 500 kids had registered for this week??™s event held at the Civic Center, which is down from previous years. ??¦ Memphis assistant coach Damon Stoudamire, who retired last year after a 13-year NBA career, will speak to the campers Tuesday along with Grizzlies owner Michael Heisley. ??¦ Former NBA great Sam Perkins is scheduled to address the kids on Wednesday. ??¦ Anderson is still recovering from a stroke he suffered 15 months ago. ???I??™m getting back to myself,??? he said. ??¦ Bradley radio play-by-play announcer Dave Snell could barely talk above a whisper at the luncheon and had to bow out from Master of Ceremonies duties. Snell is suffering from ruptured vocal chords incurred during a recent surgery. Snell??™s voice will be sidelined for about a month, he confirmed in a hoarse murmur.??¦ Joe and Marilyn Stowell celebrated their 58th wedding anniversary Monday.
