BU women get a verbal committment

There are unconfirmed reports that Bradley women's basketball coach Paula Bucher got a verbal commitment yesterday from Alyson Spinas-Valainis who will be a senior (class of 2010) at Davenport Assumption HS, in Davenport, Iowa.

Alyson Spinas-Valainis is a 6'3" post player who lead her team in scoring, rebounding, and blocks as a junior with 18.5 ppg, and 8.7 rpg, and 3.5 blocks per game. The Davenport Assumption Lady Knights finished 18-4 last season, and they won their conference with a record of 16-0.

As we reported here over a week ago, Bradley women's basketball got a verbal commitment from Davenport Assumption star Alyson Spinas-Valainis.
Now the first confirmation of that news has finally appeared in the media--
