Bradley 72 - Illini 68 Final
???It??™s awful hard,??™??™ said Illini freshman guard D.J. Richardson, the former Central High School guard who played prep school ball a few miles from here and fought back tears outside the locker room. ???It??™s a hometown thing. It??™s bragging rights.??™

My only beef with the AW write-up is the fact that Bradley hasn't used a "Small Forward" since Deon Jackson in the mid-1990's. AW plays shooting/off guard because BU uses a 3-guard line-up. The traditional G/G/F/F/C isn't found often in college basketball anymore (except Michigan St who has recently has chosen to use a SF rather than a 3rd guard). Most teams line up as G/G/G/F/F or G/G/G/F/C...and we all remember our infamous 4-guard lineup of the 06-07 season.
It's a minor detail. I look forward to continuing to read your articles and posts of BF.
I agree... the SF designation doesn't really exist much. AW seems like a stereotypical SF, so I called him that.
Stay tuned for some fun stuff at the Bradley Examiner site!Don't putt until the cup stops movin'

A healthy AW will eat into a lot of time of some of the other players and I'd expect to see 18+ ppg for the 2nd 1/2 of the season."Educate and inform the whole mass of the people...they are the only sure reliance for the preservation of our liberty."
