Creighton got a verbal commitment from a class of 2010 big man, Will Artino.

Will Artino is a 6'11" center from Waukee, Iowa high school. He averaged 12.4 points and 7.9 rebounds a game this past year. This is a bit of a surprise, since Creighton has been recruiting several big post men who are rated higher than Artino (Ben Mills and Kyle Kelm from Wisconsin, and Elliott Eliason of Nebraska among others). Also because an article appeared today on the Iowa Hawkeyes Rivals site that said Iowa was planning on offering a scholarship to him. However, Iowa doesn't have any scholarships available for 2010, so that may have help him make his decision.
In this article, from this morning, he is quoted as saying the only offer he has for 2010 is from Colorado State.--
